Administration

This is also known as Management Support Services Department. It is charged with the responsibility of providing management support to all functional departments and units in their operations.  It is composed of Town Clerk’s office, Information and Communication Technology, Human Resource Management unit and Records office. The Deputy Town Clerk is the Head of Administration Department.

SECTOR OBJECTIVES

Production

This department is under Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) whose mandate is “To promote and support sustainable and market oriented agricultural production, food security and household incomes”.

Statutory Bodies

Council is the highest political authority within the Municipality and has legislative and executive powers to exercise.

The core mandate of council is to formulate and approve policies for effective implementation.

Council ensures that proper services are delivered to the people through monitoring the implementation of the planned activities and government programs.

The department comprises of Council and Procurement and Disposal Unit.

Other services like recruitment of staff, accountability and land management are requested for from the district.

Education and Sports

This department is charged with the responsibility of ensuring quality education in Nebbi Municipality through school inspections, supervisions and overseeing council developments in the education sector.
